Don’t Leave Me Alone In The Music Industry – Omawumi Begs Waje

Singer Omawumi has pleaded with her close friend and colleague Waje not to quit the music industry.

Waje, over the weekend posted a video on her YouTube account crying out that she is done with the music industry.

According to Waje, her songs has been flopping because she doesn’t have money to promote them.

But reacting to Waje’s comments, Omawumi stated on her Instagram account that while she understands her decision, she begs her not to quit the industry because she will be alone.

“I can relate 100%. I am thankful for your love and support and being the strong woman that you are. I know you cant quit nothing! And leave me alone in this industry? Mbanu!” she wrote.

Waje and Omawumi are not only friends but business partners. In January, the two besties launched a media production company, Hermanes Media.

According to the pair, Hermanes Media provides services such as film/TV production, TV adverts, content creation, brand event activation, and creative digital marketing.

In February, the company unveiled their first project, a movie titled “She Is”.

The movie stars top Nollywood stars, including Desmond Elliot, Somkele Idhlama and Segun Arinze.
