Doncic names Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown as the NBA’s best duo: They fit together
Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown scored a combined 68 points to lead the Boston Celtics to a 125-112 victory over the Dallas Mavericks on Thursday.
After scoring 42 points against the Celtics, Luka Doncic claimed that Boston, who boast a 14-4 record, are currently the best team in the league.
“They’re probably the no.1 team in the league, and they probably have the best duo in the league, too,” Doncic said as reported by ESPN.
“And we’re in the Garden. It’s always a special game. You have to come 100 percent. If you’re not, you’re probably going to lose. It’s a big game.”
Tatum (30.6) and Brown (25.6) are considered as the best NBA duo with a combined 56.2 points per game, which is 46.9 percent of their team’s points. After the game against Boston, Doncic has declared that he is a fan of their game.
“I think a lot of people can see that. I think the way they play. I know people try to separate them but they fit together, they went to the Finals last year, so I think those two are really great players.”
