Donatella Versace had some kind words for Taylor Swift after seeing the pop superstar’s style choice for the NFL game she attended on Sunday, Nov. 10.
Swift, 34, was at the game to cheer on her boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce. Sunday’s game marked the fifth she has attended so far during the 2024 season.
The 14-time Grammy Award winner stunned fans with her outfit choice for the day, which featured a red and black plaid skirt, matching blazer and black corset. She paired the look with tall black leather boots and a black purse, and styled her long hair into a bun.
After fans gave their overwhelming approval for Swift’s outfit on social media—many called it her “best look yet”—the younger sister of Gianni Versace, the Versace fashion brand’s late founder, weighed in with her thoughts on the style choice.
In a Sunday post on Instagram, the Italian fashion designer shared two snapshots of Swift’s game-day look, which she identified as including Versace pieces. “Can you blame me for loving football now? 🏈 @taylorswift you are SO gorgeous in Versace!! ❤️🔥,” Donatella, 69, wrote.

Many fans who left comments on the post echoed Donatella’s remarks, with one dubbing Swift the “Versace Queen.”
“Gorgeous design, she looks stunning,” one Instagram user wrote.
“Love this outfit! ❤️❤️❤️,” another fan agreed.
The “Fortnight” songstress has impressed fans with her game-day fashion ever since she began going to Chiefs games in September 2023, shortly after she and Kelce began dating. Prior to Sunday’s game, she most recently attended the Chiefs’ home game on Nov. 4, at which she debuted an outfit that included black shorts and a matching black top, black cowboy boots and a leather jacket that featured the team’s logo.
Swift’s presence at Sunday’s game enabled her to watch in person as her NFL star boyfriend scored his second touchdown of the season. She was also able to cheer the undefeated team on as Kelce and his teammates secured their ninth consecutive win.
