Ace gospel musician, Diana Hopeson has urged gospel musicians and Christians across the country to enhance the unity of God’s spirit to the rest of the world.
The Veteran Gospel Artiste speaking at the maiden congress of the Christian Music Association Ghana – CMAG at the Hephzibah Christian Centre in Aburi over the weekend said,
” It is high time we understand and value with high level of dignity in accordance to the MOST HIGH we are worshipping. Let’s do well to keep the unity of God’s Spirit”
According to her, Christianity is about unity and must be practice and treated as such.
The maiden congress of the Association which was under the slogan “keeping the unity of the spirit” saw gospel musicians both male and female from all ten regions of the country gather under one umbrella to enhance their spiritual life to a better standard.
The day also saw the body accepting and approving their constitution for work operation, securing Interim Executive Committee to look at affairs of the Union going forward.
President of the Association, Eugene Zuta in his acceptance speech indicated that, the new executives will build structures and work hard for the association to gain more roots in the country.
Vice President, Madam Abena Ruthy who spoke to the media afterwards applauded the board of trustees of whom are Mrs. Diana Hopeson, Rev Nii Okai, Mr. Worlanyo Afenyo, Mrs. Ruth Benny Wood, Mr. Franklin Eleblu and Ps. Jasher Taylor for their initiative and encouraged her other executives to forge ahead and achieve the vision of the group as Christians in Ghana.
The Christian Music Association, Ghana(CMAG) is an association of persons engaged in the production, promotion, distribution, and presentation of gospel music in Ghana.
