South Africa’s DJ Muzik SA is quite “Obsessed” is a new song in which he tapped the vocal resources of his pals DJ TPZ and Deidree.
Call this a local meeting of champions and you wouldn’t be wrong. The musicians on the song, two of whom had worked together previously, are buzzing names in South African music.
DJ Muzik SA and DJ TPZ had worked together previously, so, in a sense, this track is a reunion of sorts for them. Also, as in previous collaborations, they hit it off right here, with Deidree playing a complementary role.
The song doesn’t take the tag of the finest we’ve listened to this week, but then anyone who had fiercely chased a dream or idea or goal —or even a love interest — will appreciate the song these three friends have put together.
