Diddy is set to make a grand appearance at Rick Ross’ car show next week to add to the star-studded lineup — but he’ll be touching down in wings rather than four wheels.
The Bad Boy boss and Rozay were hanging out on Memorial Day (May 29) and Diddy promised to appear at Ross’ car show at his Promise Land estate on Saturday (June 3) but will be bringing his private jet instead of a sports car.
“Hope you muthafuckas are ready for Saturday,” Ross began in his Instagram Story. “It’s gon’ be a special event.”
Diddy joined the frame: “This just in. Can I land my jet? I know it’s a car show but can I bring the Jet? I know Rick Ross has a runway. He’s has a jet runway at his house. At his house!”
Diddy is yet another confirmed celebrity guest at the car show this weekend, where Rozay will perform alongside Gucci Mane.
Since he’s bringing a plane, only time will tell if Ross will allow Diddy to be eligible for the $300,000 in jewelry gifts he’s purchased for contest winners.
“This heavyweight. This over $300,000 in giveaways. The bottom row, that’s for the heavyweights — best car, best bike. The top row — Hustler of the Year and Best Hot Rod,” he said.
“It’s going down at the Promise Land. It’s like a party, it’s like a barbecue. It’s not going down at one of them spots where everybody got on a mask. It’s like the Olympics. Rose gold — not silver, but white gold.”
Diddy and Ross have been friends for some time as they’ve appeared on each other’s projects in the past with Puff guesting on Rozay’s Rich Forever mixtape while the Biggest Bawse lent a verse to Diddy and Dirty Money’s “Angel (Remix).”
Ross initially ran into trouble when trying to host the annual car show in Fayette County but officials eventually gave him the green light to have the event at his Promise Land estate last week.
The approval comes amid local police concern for “the potential impact” the show could have on the community.
“Rest assured, we will make every attempt to mitigate the impact on our local community,” a spokesperson for the department said in a statement to FOX 5. Our number one priority is the safety and well-being of South Fulton residents and businesses. We have formulated a strategic plan to manage the situation effectively.”
The department will have extra patrols and officers on duty, as well as special traffic plans in place to minimize any disruptions.
