Davido’s ‘Fall’ Officially The Longest-Charting Nigerian Single In Billboard History

As 2019 progresses, Davido’s Fall which two months ago became the first Nigerian single to hit 100 Million viewson Youtube, continues to make great strides in the United States of America.

The 2017 hit single has been announced to be the first Nigerian single to maintain its position on the American Billboard chart consecutively for the past four weeks after

This announcement was posted on the officially Billboard’s website where they predicted that the song, which has already done four weeks might do more than that considering it’s still among the songs most Americans are presently loving.

In late 2018, the song was reportedly the most Shazamed song in New-York and presently receiving massive airplay on radio stations in America. Although Davido revealed in an interview that he never thought Fall will be as big as it is, it is rather ironic that the unexpected song is what is shooting the singer and afrobeat farther into the global music space.
