Previously, Denzel Washington was interviewed while at the premiere of ‘A Journal for Jordan,’ a movie he directed starring Michael B. Jordan. During the interview, Denzel was asked about a viral impersonation video done by actor Damson Idris. However, Denzel made it clear he didn’t know who the actor was. From there, Denzel went as far as asking others around him if they heard of the actor to get clarity and made it known no disrespect was intended.

Denzel Washington recently directed a new film called ‘A Journal for Jordan,’ starring Michael B. Jordan and Chante Adams. The premiere of the movie just took place, and an interviewer approached Washington and asked him a question about Damson Idris, who he generally drew a blank on.
The interviewer asked Denzel about the actor and his audition for the 2016 film ‘Fences,’ all while bringing up an impersonation Idris did of Denzel. The actor generally looked puzzled and said “Who are you talking about? I don’t know who that is. What show? Snowfall? No disrespect Damson, no disrespect.” Denzel’s response has since gone viral, and this comes after a viral impersonation of Denzel by Damson. Watch above.
