Daddy Lumba brushes off, humiliates fan who sprayed money on him

Multiple awarding winning highlife musician, Charles Kwadwo Fosu, known in showbiz as Daddy Lumba (DL) at the just ended MTN Music Festival 2019, was seen humiliating a fan on stage during his performance.

The fan who identified himself as ‘Big Joe’ climbed unto the same stage that DL was performance just to get a shout out from the highlife legend and also to spray money on him.

In a video captured by GhanaWeb shows that ‘Big Joe’ after getting his shout out started spraying the ‘Aben Wo Aha’ hitmaker some money and at a point interrupting his performance but Daddy Lumba (DL) who was feeling uncomfortable was seen telling this fan to stop but with excitement, ‘Big Joe’ was still spraying the money thinking that it was normal.

The musician who was then treating his fans to his ‘Yentie Obiaa’ hit song had to stop singing, confront the ‘Big Joe’ before he (Big Joe) walked off the stage with embarrassment.

DL later had to continue with his performance.

About the MTN Music Festival 2019

The MTN Music Festival is geared towards celebrating evergreen Ghanaian music and culture. The festival is held on the eve of selected national holidays throughout the year.

The event is one of several platforms that MTN Ghana uses to support and promote the creative arts industry. MTN Ghana has also created other traditional and digital platforms including MTN Hitmaker and MTN Regional festivals.

The Independence Day edition of the MTN Music Festival happened at the Accra International Conference Centre on Tuesday, March 5, 2019.

The artistes who performed on the night were the legend Daddy Lumba and was supported by highlife musician Ofori Amponsah and songstress and award-winning vocalist Efya.
