D.C. Young Fly’s girlfriend — former Wild N’Out star Ms. Jacky Oh! — has reportedly passed away at the age of 32 years old, leaving behind three children.
TMZ has reported that the model, actor, and Shein partner was in Miami getting what’s known as a “mommy makeover” when she reportedly passed away. Jacky Oh! (real name Jacklyn Smith) first met D.C. Young Fly in 2015, when he was on Wild N’Out for the first time.
The pair have three children — daughters Nova and Nala, and son Prince — but no official statement from the family has been released as of this writing.
In recent years, “mommy makeovers” have become very popular amongst the celebrity crowd, with folks like Blac Chyna, Cardi B, and Pepa of Salt-N-Pepa all confessing to the procedure after they’d given birth to their children.
The American Society of Plastic Surgeons reports that a “mommy makeover” often consists of a combination of several procedures, including a breast augmentation, lift, or reduction; a tummy tuck; a butt augmentation; liposuction; and an arm or a thigh lift.
“Mommy makeovers” are often done by mothers after their pregnancies to get the “snap back” look, but can also be done by post-menopausal women who put on weight due to hormone fluctuations.
The American Society of Plastic Surgeons also claims that “mommy makeovers” are generally safe, provided that your body has time to recover from the procedure.
“A mommy makeover can radically change how your body looks, giving you more energy, vitality and self-esteem. It is also a surgical procedure that requires an investment of time for recovery. Patients with the happiest outcomes are the ones who plan accordingly,” it writes. “The best way to ensure a great result is to give your body the time and energy that it needs to heal properly.”
However, no plastic surgery — especially invasive ones — is without risk. While deaths like Ms. Jacky Oh!’s are rare, Kanye West‘s beloved mother, Dr. Donda West, passed away after complications due to a cosmetic procedure back in 2007.
HipHopDX sends its condolences to the friends and family of Ms. Jacky Oh! and D.C. Young Fly during this difficult time.
