Curren$y has received a bonus reason to celebrate the New Orleans Pelicans’ recent victory, thanks to a special gift from star forward Zion Williamson.
Following the Pelicans’ seventh straight win in an overtime thriller against the Phoenix Suns, blessed Spitta with his game-worn jersey on the spot.
After the buzzer sounded following the Pels 129-124 victory, Zion sought out Curren$y courtside and handed over the jersey following a dap-up. Star guard C.J. McCollum also stopped by to greet the Jet Life co-founder on the baseline.
Curren$y captured the moment in on Instagram with a series of photos including a shot of his newly acquired gear. “7 in a row and these last two were super important for the city. This meant the world to me,” he captioned the post.

The New Orleans native got plenty of love in his comment section as fans joked about him putting a bar on his next mixtape referencing the Williamson-gifted jersey, while another referred to Spitta as the mayor of the Big Easy.
“That’s my dawg,” Smoke DZA added.
The Pelicans’ official Instagram account also shared a video of the exchange, tagging both Curren$y and the game’s leading scorer.
Zion Williamson contributed 35 points to the Pels’ win, while McCollum chipped in 29 points of his own to outlast the Suns in overtime.
Curren$y is a courtside fixture and fans can expect to see him at plenty of more games at the Smoothie King Center supporting the Pelicans, who currently boast the best record in the Western Conference at 18-8.
The Pelicans are set to hit the road for the remainder of this week with a pair of contests against the Jazz and a rematch with the Phoenix Suns on tap.
On the music side, the 41-year-old continues to feed the streets as his latest release came with The Drive In Theatre Part 2 which features assists from Jade Angelle, Premo Rice, Rob49, Fendi P and more.
