Chris Rock is clearly enjoying his single life. The comedian, who was last romantically linked to actress Lake Bell, was reportedly recently caught on a date with British TV host Sharon Carpenter.
The 58-year-old actor and the 41-year-old broadcast journalist were allegedly spotted getting drinks at the swanky Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood, California last week. The two seemingly got flirty that night as a source tells Page Six, “They seemed into each other.” The eyewitness adds, “Sharon was laughing nonstop.”
Chris is also said to have joked around with patrons at nearby tables during the outing. Robert Pattinson happened to be another visitor at the hotel that night and “The Batman” actor made sure to stop by the “Grown Ups” star’s table to say hello.
Sharon is currently a host for BBC America and often contributes on CNN, “Good Morning America” and U.K. morning show “Lorraine”. She has also appeared on Revolt TV, 2013’s VH1 series “The Gossip Game” and hosted the U.K. version of “HQ Trivia”.
It’s currently unclear what the nature of Chris’ relationship with Sharon is. The actor was previously reported dating Lake Bell following numerous sightings together in June 2022. Since that summer, the two have not been seen together again.
Later in his Netflix special “Chris Rock: Selective Outrage” which premiered in early March, Chris confirmed that he’s “single.” He said onstage, “I’m single. I’ve been single for a long time. I was married for a long time.” Hinting at his split from the “No Escape” star, the “Saturday Night Live” alum added, “I was dating somebody for a while. Now I’m single.”
Despite the lack of romantic relationship in his life, Chris asserted, “My life is good. I cannot complain. I’ve got some bulls**t going on, but it’s going good.” He went on noting, “I’m trying to date. I want a real relationship. I want a Sunday kind of love.”
Speaking on his agony about dating, he then quipped, “On the other hand I’m just a h*e. Like, ladies, I will lick your a** and I never call you again. But if we hold hands, you’re my girl.”
