Chloe Bailey isn’t bothered by criticism toward her hair look while attending “The Little Mermaid (2023)” premiere in Los Angeles on Monday, May 8. The “In Pieces” artist took to her Instagram account to share a message to the online trolls who mocked her for her wig at the event.
In a video, Chloe could be seen struggling while trying to remove her wig. “As a girl with locs, I’m very new to the lace front community,” she told the camera. “If y’all liked my wig at the premiere, great. If y’all didn’t, great, kiss my a**.”
The one half of Chloe x Halle then revealed the products that were recommended to her to remove the wig glue, alcohol and oil. “We’re going to see how to get this off because I’m not trying to rip my edges out,” Chloe said.
She first tried the oil. However, it didn’t work well so she decided it was time to try alcohol. Thankfully, it worked like a charm after she found the trick, putting the alcohol on her skin and oil on her hair.
Proving herself to be a supportive sister, Chloe joined her sister Halle Bailey, who plays Ariel in “The Little Mermaid”, at the premiere event. For the occasion, the 24-year-old wore a sultry yellow gown that hugged her curves. She flashed her cleavage with a sexy crystal cutout while sporting big afro hair.
While Chloe was stunning, some Internet users didn’t think her hair style was the right choice. “Now Chloe why would you wear that on your head besides that everyone looks so nice and fitting for the movie colors!” one user commented. Another user wrote, “Chloe I know you probably didn’t wanna get a re-twist, but baby this is The little mermaid not The lion king.”
Similarly, someone else penned, “the hair…. meanwhile Halle looked stunning.” Another comment, meanwhile, read, “I just want to know why the hair stylist set my girl up like this!!”
