Nigerian Novelist, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie is the cover star of Marie Claire Brazil’s – an international magazine – April issue.
The 41-year-old Enugu-born writer on Saturday expressed her delight to be featured in the Magazine as she took Instagram to share the cover of the issue which she believes would highlight the work of other talented Nigerians:
“Delighted to be on the cover of Marie Claire Brazil… Thank you to everyone at the Marie Claire Brazil team for taking a stand for feminism,” Chimamanda captioned her post.

From Port Magazine to M Le magazine du Monde, Chimamanda joins a tall list of Nigerian influential personalities who have graced different international magazines in the past year.
In 2018, she graced Elle Magazine’s September issue, which described her as “The Original Feminist”

The following month, Chimamanda was featured on the cover of the October issue of the Telegraph Magazine, where she discussed Nigeria, misogyny, and the #MeToo movement.
In the feature article, Chimamanda talked about how she lost faith in Nigeria after her biological father was kidnapped in 2015.
The author of “Half of a Yellow Sun” said she has lived with the guilt that her father was kidnapped because of her.
