Charter House should recognize the hard work of musicians in B. A – Musician

Spread the love

Sunyani-based hip-hop/hiplife artiste, Frank Asare, otherwise known as Katapila, has made a passionate appeal to Charter House, the organizers of the annual Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA).

Speaking in an interview with www.newshuntermag.com, the ‘No Wahala’ composer posited that the majority of artistes based in the Brong Ahafo Region are working hard—so it is time for the efforts to be recognized.

“Many artistes in the region are doing extremely well. Anybody who would listen to our songs will attest to this. I will plead to the organizers of VGMA to recognize our hard works,” he appealed.

Katapila emphasized that any artistes from the Brong Ahafo region who will earn a nomination in the 20th edition of the award scheme will prove his/her worth for being nominated.

According to him, cushioning musicians in the region will help them to make giant strides.

He, therefore, charged his colleagues to submit their works to the organizers of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards before filling of nominations closes.

In 2018, Katapila featured Ponobiom on ‘No Wahala’ and Cabum on the remix of his ‘Wayema’ song.
