Starting his music career just a year ago, the Jobas Muzik signed act, Jodiba has achieved what many others dream of, including seeing his name on the Central Music Award 2019 nomination board as nominee for Best New Artiste of the Year. It’s very exciting for up-and-coming artists like Jodiba to be nominated for the first time for music awards, and he’s all up for the once-in-a-lifetime award for new artist of the year.
The 21 year old first made his debut in August 2018 with a single ‘Ayeeba’ performed on a hip hop beat. Since then, he’s shown off his immense vocal range with four more additional singles. The Central Region singer-songwriter began to gain momentum in Ghana music industry with his fourth single ‘Shame’, which began to slide up the country charts.
Jodiba has captivated everyone with his ‘Shame’ and venturing into Ghana music mainstream. He has garnered the attention of established acts such as the social media influencer and brand journalist Kobby Kyei, host of Showbiz Agenda on Zylofon FM Sammy Flex, and some popular DJs, bloggers and music analysts. Jodiba collaborated with the 2018 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards winner, TeePhlow on his second track titled ‘One Drop’ in December 2018.
Jodiba is an afrobeat and hiplife singer who draws his music inspirations from Mugeez and Sean Paul.
