Talented rapper Cabum recently went bananas on legendary musician, Rocky Dawuni, on Twitter stating that it was wrong for the Grammy nominee to use portions of his father’s song without seeking permission from their family.
After the rant of Cabum, the afro roots singer Rocky Dawuni also revealed in an interview with Hitz FM that he only recreated the popular ‘Kyenkyen Bi Adi M’awu’ song of the late Alhaji K Frimpong to honor him because he was recently gifted the opportunity to record at Village Studio in Los Angeles.
Well, after the little back and forth on social media and radio, Cabum and Rocky Dawuni have finally met not long ago to settle the little issues that arose. In a post sighted be zionfelix.net on the Instagram handle of the Kumasi based rapper, he reveals that there are no qualms again because he had a very fruitful discussion with the ‘African Reggae Fever’ hitmaker.
The ‘Ye Na Wale’ hitmaker also revealed in the post that Rocky Dawuni is a man who has has a great heart and that he was very honored to have met him for the peace meeting.
“It was nice meeting u sir, Da legendary Mr Rocky Dawuni u have such a great heart. #Chedeshi”, Cabum wrote in the caption of the photos sighted of them.
