National organizer for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Sammy Awuku says the National Democratic Congress (NDC) is struggling to market their candidate for the Ayawaso West Wougon by-election.
He noted that, though the candidate, Delali Brempong is a good material, vile propaganda being used by the NDC is doing him ore harm than good.
“It no surprise that they have lost in Ayawaso West Constituency for a long time because the constituents are too smart to buy into cheap propaganda and lies,” he stated.
Speaking in an interview on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen programme Wednesday, Sammy Awuku said they are focused on retaining the seat.
He stated that, their candidate, Madam Lydia Alhassan is a unifier and loved by majority in the constituency thus victory is assured.
Sammy Awuku is confident come Thursday, the EC will declare their candidate winner of the by-elections.
