Musician Burna Boy has been named in Forbes Africa’s latest ‘30 Under 30’ list.
The 28-year-old BET Award winner was named in the creative category alongside other 29 most success creative arts personalities below 30 years who have excelled in their respective fields.
Burna Boy is not the only Nigerian named under this category as Richard Akuson (Founder & Editor of A Nasty Boy), Helen Chukwu (Fashion Designer, Founder & CEO of Helen Couture) and Abisola Akintunde (Founder & Creative Director of MakeupbyAshabee and Beelashes) all earned spots.
In all, this year’s list has over 120 names, up from 90 last year, across four categories – business, technology, creatives and sport.
