Burn Anokye Supremo’s body in India – Entertainment pundit tells family

Nana Kwame Gyan who is an entertainment pundit has sent some words of advice to the family of the late Anokye Supremo to save their time and money and just burn the body of the late highlife artiste in India where he had initially gone for treatment.

Last week it was reported on various news platform about the death of the Daddy Lumba look alike after he went to India last year to undergo surgery to remove a tumor in his head. Even though the surgery according to the doctors went well, the musician died of cardiac arrest after some days.

According to him manager known as Zack who accompanied him to India, even though Anokye Supremo is dead they still owe the hospital some $21,000 and they need to pay off that amount before the body is released to them.

In a separate interview with Anokye supremo’s father who is currently in India, his son had been moved to a private mortuary and they are yet to pay for those mortuary bills before they finally plan on how to bring the body home for a befitting funeral and all things requires money and therefore calling on Ghanaians to help him.

But Nana Kwame Gyan speaking on ‘Adom Entertainment Hall’ hosted by Mike 2 last Saturday stated that since the family is in dire need of money to settle the bills owned the Indian hospital, the best thing for them is to burn his body since that won’t cost much.

He said: “All other things being equal, the family of Anokye Supremo should start considering the cremating his body. The family has already told us that they don’t have money to bring down his body. I will humbly suggest they cremate his body and bring down his ashes for the final funeral rites…”.
