Azealia Banks has announced that she’s parted ways with Parlophone Records after signing to the label late last year.
The “212” rapper fired away at the Warner Music UK subsidiary’s executives and her Parlophone labelmates in a scathing rant posted to her Instagram Story earlier this week.
“I’m leaving @parlophone this staff is full of really silly fragile white liars. The roster is full of corny losers and I’ve had it,” she said of the label which is home to David Guetta, Coldplay and more.
“Like how many idiots does it take to screw in a fucking lightbulb? Ugh thank god. ‘New Bottega’ will be on platforms this week. That shit was stressing me the fuck out.”

The Harlem native followed-up to clarify that she calls the shots and severed ties with Parlophone Records and not the other way around.
“I DONT GET DROPPED I DROP THE LABEL LMAO PUSSIES,” she added while channeling JAY-Z’s “On to the Next One.”
It was a short-lived stint for Banks as part of the Parlophone roster after signing to the label in November 2022. “Bitches I just got signed to Warner/Parlophone UK! I’m coming home,” she wrote on social media at the time. “I did it. I wasn’t going to let you down.”
The turbulent rapper’s career takes another turn as she will have to find a new home to release her forthcoming “New Bottega” single to kick off 2023.
Parlophone Records is yet to respond to Banks’ claims of quitting the label for good.
Azealia Banks didn’t have any new music hit streaming services in 2022, but she did chime in on a number of trending topics related to the rap world on social media.
In October, Banks said Nicki Minaj needed “serious help” after feuding publicly with Latto.
“The Barbs need to petition to get Nicki Minaj some rehab and mental health services through the Grammys music cars program,” she wrote. “It’s becoming painstakingly clear that this woman needs serious help, because this level of anger is not normal at all.”
