The ‘man insane’, Kwaw Kese has thrown light on award schemes in Ghana branding as illegitimate schemes.

According to Kwaw Kese in an interview with Sammy Flex on Zylofon FM, awards schemes in Ghana are questionable due to how they organise and award certain artists.

In his assertion, the criteria used in selecting artists for some categories makes the whole scheme a bias and questionable one.

He posited that 3 Music Awards have boards members responsible for selecting and categorisation of nominees sometimes belong to the management team of an artist, and on that note will always favour his artist over others even those ignored might have worked hard in the year under review than the artist selected.

He further charged on the organisers of the annual VGMA’s, Charterhouse citing the same problem. According to him, the work he has produced in the last decade should have been looked into and be considered for ‘Artist of the Decade’ category but that never happened because of their selfish interest.
