Appyday, Nigerian singer in Norway, accuses Duncan Mighty of N1m scam
A Nigerian recording artiste based in Norway has accused singer Duncan Mighty of defrauding him of the sum of one million naira, meant for a collaboration.
Appyday in a series of tweets claimed that the money was to cater for featuring the artiste on his new single “She Don’t Care”, his travel expenses to Norway and hotel accommodation.
However, Duncan Mighty, according to Norwegian-based artiste, did not fulfill his part of the deal as he failed to show up for either the studio recording or the video shoot.
Narrating how the self-acclaimed Port Harcourt first son swindled him, Appyday said Duncan Mighty demanded N3m when he contacted him for the feature, but they bargained and settled on N1m.
Appyday agreed to pay N700,000 – 70 per cent of the money – upfront into his account, and the balance when he is physically present for the video shoot.
Duncan and his team later demanded extra money for their flight – Business Class of course – and hotel accommodation pegged at N380,000, for which Appyday paid N300,000.
A sum total of exactly N1m was paid to Duncan and that was when the drama started.
