“Any Artiste That Says He Doesn’t Copy Other Artistes Can’t Be Successful” – Tekno

Spread the love

The issue of artistes copying each other in the music industry is no longer news to music lovers.

One recent case which was quite a popular one is the case of Danny young accusing Tiwa Savage of stealing his lyrics from his 2009 hit song,”Oju Ti Won”.

However, in a recent video up on instagram, Tekno who was seated with Kcee, J.Martins, & Rudeboy confirms the need to “copy” others if you want to be successful as an artiste.

In the video below, Tekno could be heard saying “any artiste wey say he no dey copy no fit dey successful.” Rude boy displays a nonchalant attitude as J Martins asks for his own opinion on the topic while Kcee doesn’t waste time in responding.

Can one be really successful in the music industry without copying others?
