Actress Abena Ghana welcomes baby girl
Actress Abena Ghana, born Cecilia Gyaase, is now a mother as she has given birth to a beautiful baby girl.
The proud mother took to social media on Friday to share her happy news.
She posted a photo of her baby bump on Instagram and expressed gratitude to God for her bundle of joy.
“ Who said there is no God…thank you father…welcome my princess…the pains and tears but you worth it…can’t forget this day you made me a woman, and I’m glad to have you as a daughter…thanks for making me your mum…wow we share same bday month…luv you Afia my princess…my testimony…daddy’s pride. Help me thank God for everything,” she wrote on Instagram.
“Sometimes u gotta (got to) fail to succeed. Thank God for all my past struggles…nothing can be compared to this joy…no Amount of contracts, projects, money etc. Because you are a special gift from God to us…Daddy’s princess…can’t wait to be home and start all i left for the sake of your love, i will always choose you million times over everything in this world,” she said in another post in which she wore outfit with a bold inscription ‘new mum in town’.
She has since Friday received a lot of congratulatory messages from friends in showbiz industry and her followers.
Meanwhile, the identity of the man behind Abena’s bundle of joy remains unknown. She hasn’t flaunted him on social media.
Abena Ghana is one of the actresses doing very well in the Ghanaian movie industry. She started in 2008 but took a break in 2010 and returned in 2014.
Currently, she has over 25 movies to her credit and among them are ‘Tonga’, ‘Sexy Wizard’, ‘Sufre Awurade’, ‘Nku Me Fie’, ‘Mekunu Wuo’, ‘Teacher Kojo’, ‘Supremo’, ‘War of Roses’ and many more.
She is a TV presenter and is also the lead character in the skit ‘Abena Ghana’.
