Following 3news.com’s story on the brilliant but needy street boy, Abdul Hakeem Alhassan Aremeyaw, who has returned to the streets of Accra after winning an essay competition and representing Ghana in China, many have been moved and have expressed interest in helping him realise his dream of becoming a pilot.
Even though the news story did not contain detailed contacts for kind-hearted individuals and institutions to readily support Hakeem realise his dream, a few people have traced him to TV3.
Among those who have so far reached out to Hakeem are ace movie and music producer Alhaji Banda and children, Rahim Banda and Aisha Banda, who donated exercise books and some cash to support him.
The Banda family visited Hakeem in school Tuesday March 5 and then came over to TV3 to make the donation.
Anyone who so wishes to support Hakeem can kindly do so through TV3’s Alfred Ocansey on 0241272606 or come over to TV3 at Kanda, Accra. Cash donations can be sent to the official TV3 MTN Mobile Money account 0245221555 and alert sent to 0241272606.
The public is hereby informed that aside TV3’s Alfred Ocansey, no one has been designated by Hakeem or his family to take any donation or support on his behalf.
