– Aaron Carter’s mother demands further investigation into her son’s cause of death. Jane Schneck (formerly Jane Carter) has posted graphic photos from the singer’s death scene in order to make her point that her son was the victim of a crime, not an overdose.
On Wednesday, March 1, Jane took to her Facebook page to share the disturbing images taken in Aaron’s bathroom, where his body was found by a housekeeper on November 5, 2022. They included a snap of the bathtub, which was filled to the top with water that has a greenish tint. Aaron died in the tub hours before his housekeeper discovered it.
Another snap shows the clothes the “Dancing with the Stars” alum had taken off prior, including a Champion hoodie and what appears to be tie-dye pants. There are also photos of towels on the floor and what appears to be contaminated water spilled on the bathroom tile.
Jane wrote in the caption that she’s “still trying to get a real investigation for the death of my son Aaron Carter. I want to share these death scene photos with you all because the coroner wrote it off as an accidental drug overdose.”
She pushed for further investigation as arguing, “They never investigated it as a possible crime scene because of his addiction past. Look at the photos.” Insinuating that the cops did not do thorough investigation into the matter, she noted that the death scene photos were not taken by the law enforcement.
“But they allowed people to go in and out although a lot of potential homicide information was there for years,” she penned. “Aaron had a lot of death threats and many many people who were making his life miserable.”
Jane tells TMZ that she had the full support of Aaron’s family and friends to post the images because she wants to bring attention back to his case. She claims, “Because of my son’s mental illness and prescription drug issues they (cops) just wanted it to be something easy that they didn’t have the time or inclination to address.”
Jane finds it suspicious that Aaron was allegedly pulled out of the tub while someone performed PCR on the singer, yet the towels appear to be “perfectly placed.” She says, “There are people who must be held accountable.”
The L.A. County Coroner’s Office previously stated that autopsy did not find any water in his lungs, meaning he didn’t drown, leading investigators to believe that he died from an OD. He was cremated on November 9.
