GLENDALE, AZ – A$AP Rocky, Chris Brown and JAY-Z have all shared their reactions to Rihanna’s Super Bowl LVII Halftime Show, and they all seemed to revel in the performance.
RiRi’s highly anticipated performance went down at the State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona on Sunday evening (February 12), and saw her deliver a medley of hits including “Work,” “Umbrella” and “Diamonds,” as well as Kanye West’s “All of the Lights” and JAY-Z’s “Run this Town.”
As the 13-minute show unfolded, A$AP Rocky could be seen proudly watching his partner’s set from inside the stadium, while JAY-Z — who helped Rihanna put together her halftime show — was spotted doing the same in the stands.
As for Chris Brown ,who notoriously assaulted Rihanna back in 2009 when they were together, the R&B singer took to social media to champion his ex-girlfriend’s big moment.
“Go Girl,” Brown wrote with a heart emoji on his Instagram Stories.

Rihanna has long forgiven Chris Brown for beating her, which resulted in him being convicted of felony assault.
In 2020, Oprah Winfrey re-released a 2012 interview with Rihanna for an episode of Oprah Winfrey’s Supersoul Conversations podcast in which the “Pon De Replay” singer opened up about her love for the Indigo crooner.
“We’ve been working on our friendship again,” she said. “Now we’re very very close friends. We’ve built up a trust again, and that’s — we love each other and we probably always will. And that’s not something we’re ever going to change. That’s not something you can shut off, if you’ve ever been in love.”
However, it seems as though Rihanna’s current beau isn’t as forgiving. On his 2022 song “DMB,” A$AP Rocky seemingly took a swipe at Breezy by rapping: “I don’t beat my bitch, I need my bitch.”
Rihanna also surprised fans during her halftime show performance by announcing that she’s pregnant with baby No. 2. RiRi and Rocky are already parents to a nine-month-old son, whose name they have yet to announce to the public. The couple shared the first snaps of their baby in December.
Rihanna’s celebrated Super Bowl performance marked the Bajan billionaire’s first major show since the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards, where she performed another career-spanning medley of hits to coincide with her winning the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award.
