50 Cent is set to star in and produce a horror movie called Skill House, according to Deadline. Set for release in early 2023, the film “examines social media and influencer culture, and what those new to the sphere are willing to do to attain fame,” and is intended to be the first in a franchise.
Skill House is being written and directed by Josh Stolberg (Spiral, Jigsaw) and is set to include an ensemble cast starring TikTok star Bryce Hall and UFC veteran Paige VanZant, among many others. It’s currently in production in Los Angeles at TikTok’s “collab house,” known as Sway House.
50 Cent took to Instagram on Monday (July 11) to announce the news and share his excitement about working with producer Ryan Kavanaugh, whose Proxima Media company is producing the film alongside 50’s G-Unit Film & Television banner.
“In partnership with Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony-nominated mega-producer Ryan Kavanaugh,” he wrote on Instagram. “Producers of Fast and Furious 2-6, 300, Social Network, Limitless, Fighter, Talladega Nights, Step Brothers, and Mama Mia to name a few, Im working let’s work GLG.”

Ryan Kavanaugh is equally excited about working with 50 Cent, pointing out the many fields he’s worked in over the years.
“This film is bursting with mavericks of entertainment, many of them spanning multiple genres and platforms,” he said in a statement. “From a global rap and Hip Hop music icon to a businessman, actor, writer, and producer – if anyone knows a thing or two about breaking the boundaries, it’s 50 Cent. I’m honored to work alongside him as we watch Bryce do the same with his career.”
As well as Skill House, 50 Cent also has upcoming roles in The Expendables 4 and Den of Thieves 2: Pantera.
