50 Cent has revealed plans for a massive international tour in celebration of the 20th anniversary of his debut album Get Rich or Die Tryin’.
The Power mogul, who teased the announcement with a countdown earlier this week, took to Instagram on Thursday (May 4) to announce The Final Lap Tour.
The sprawling, 64-date trek kicks off July 21 in Salt Lake City, Utah and journeys across North America until September 17, making stops in cities such as Toronto, Atlanta, Houston, Los Angeles, Chicago, Detroit and 50’s hometown of New York City.
The European leg begins shortly after on September 28, and includes shows in the Netherlands, Germany, France, Italy and the U.K., where it comes to a close on November 12.
50 Cent also revealed that “special guest and longtime friend” Busta Rhymes will be joining him for the ride, along with Jeremih for the North American dates.
“You’ve waited long enough!” Fif wrote on Instagram. “THE FINAL LAP TOUR celebrating GET RICH OR DIE TRYIN’ — 20 YEARS LATER with special guest and longtime friend, Busta Rhymes, across all dates and Jeremih on all North American dates is coming your way in 2023!
“I’m hittin’ the globe on this one, making stops across North America and Europe including Toronto, Brooklyn, Atlanta, Houston, Amsterdam, Oslo, Paris, and many more. Additional markets and special guests to be announced soon.”
North American fans can register now for Verified Fan access at 50 Cent’s website, which will be used to help more tickets get into the hands of fans.
The Verified Ticket presale will then start on Wednesday (May 10) followed by a “limited” general sale on Friday (May 12) at 10 a.m. local time.

Get Rich or Die Tryin’ dropped on February 6, 2003 via Interscope, Dr. Dre’s Aftermath and Eminem’s Shady Records in conjunction with 50’s own G-Unit Records. The album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, selling over 872,000 copies in its first week, and has since been certified 9x platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).
To commemorate the 20th birthday of Get Rich or Die Tryin’ in February, 50 Cent previously gave fans the opportunity to purchase autographed vinyl copies of his blockbuster album for one week only.
“20 years ago today, I dropped the largest debuting hip hop album of all time,” he wrote on Instagram at the time. “Here’s Your chance to Own a piece of History! Get your Autographed ‘Get Rich or Die Tryin’ Albums Today. Available for the next 7 Days.”
Ahead of the anniversary, 50 also took a moment to reflect back on when Get Rich or Die Tryin’ shot to No. 1 on the Billboard 200 – which he called a defining moment in his decorated career.
“The first time I realized the numbers on Get Rich or Die Tryin’, that was it for me,” he said on Big Boy’s Neighborhood when asked which career moment he wishes he could relive. “We had a short first week, and it came back, it was like 830,000 something. And then we didn’t have the decrease that you would have, meaning they under-shipped it.”
He continued: “The 60 percent, 30 percent decrease that would be there for every album wasn’t there because the following week, it came in with a whole other 800,000. I was on a bus riding in the back, and I remembered [thinking], ‘This is never going to feel like this again.’”
Last November, Get Rich or Die Tryin’ also became 50 Cent’s longest-charting project of his career. The album re-entered the Billboard 200 at No. 165, bringing its total number of weeks on the chart to 150.
While the G-Unit boss has since turned his attention to his ever-expanding TV and movie empire, he also told Big Boy that he is working on a new album with none other than Dr. Dre.
“As soon as I said that, I got a text from [Eminem] that he had already spoke to Dre, and that Dre is in there and he got some crazy stuff for me to go hear,” he said.
“This is my process: I’ll go make something, what I can find, the best music that I can put my hands on. And when I feel real good about it, I bring it to put pressure on Dre to offer me something. ‘Cause he’ll have something… He’s always had something.”
