We were on hibernation, now we are back for good – Praye
Ghanaian music trio, Praye has said their comeback is for good. Choirmaster, a member of the group, made these comments on ‘Late Nite celebrity show’ on e.TV Ghana.
‘’We went on hibernation, now we are back for good. Even our latest slogan Praye : it’s in everybody’s house, means we are here to stay,’’ he stated.
They also assured their fans that when they see any member of the group on a solo project, there is no cause for alarm because even though they are a group, maintaining their individuality is paramount.
‘’When you hear a song from ‘Praye Tintin’, it doesn’t mean we have gone our separate ways. It just means he is sweeping the compound, that is what ‘Praye Tintin’ is used for, while ‘Praye Honeho’ is used for sweeping the inner rooms. ‘Praye Tiatia’ is used for scrubbing the bathroom. So treat our individual projects as a small part of the bigger Praye picture,’’ Big J Cartel said.
It can be recalled that on 14th April, 2018, the Hiplife trio performed together for the first time since they broke up in 2014. They also announced their comeback after a performance at the 2018 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards and moved on to release of a ten-track album.
The group Praye, comprising Nana Kwame (Praye Tintin), Eugene Baah (Praye Honeho) and Stephen Fiawo (Praye Tiatia) was born in 2004 after they emerged winners of the maiden edition of the Nescafe African Revelations talent hunt.
