Accra Hearts of Oak defender Mohammed Alhassan remains positive after being omitted from Kwasi Appiah final 23 man Squad for the African Cup of Nations.
The former WAFA defender vowed to work harder and return to the team in the immediate future.
He also insisted he is not sad for missing the chance to make it to the showpiece in Egypt.
“First of all, I won’t say I feel bad because even being here I am very happy,” he said after he was dropped.
“I want to thank the management for calling me and me being here I thank them very much because they have given me the platform.
“I am going back home to work even very harder and I know and believe in myself that, in the next call-up I will be included in the squad,’ he concluded.
Alhassan was axed alongside Abdul Fatau Safiu, Ebenezer Ofori, Yaw Yeboah and Abdul Majeed Waris.
